WATCH: Charlie Puth Almost 'Spilled His Guts' on Network TV

“This is most nervous I have ever been,” Puth said

October 12, 2017

It’s not every day that one of our favorite pop stars almost vomits on network TV, but it almost happened last night when Charlie Puth appeared on the Late Late Show last night (October 11).

The 25-year-old singer participated in a segment called “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” on the program. He was joined by Josh Gad (Frozen), Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex Girlfriend), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), and the show’s James Corden for the segment.

The segment challenged the guests to answer a tough question about themselves or eat something disgusting. The “foods” on the table included cow tongue, jellyfish, grasshopper, bird saliva, and turkey testicles.

Before the segment even began, Charlie gagged when James Corden made him sniff one of the foods.

“I really want Charlie to throw up on TV,” Josh Gad said moments later.

The big moment came when Charlie was asked if Selena Gomez or Meghan Trainor was a better singer. Charlie chose to eat grasshopper rather than bothering any of their fandoms. Good call. Probably a good idea to not take sides, Charlie.
