Honestly, when I started reading the books I didn't have a clue as to who should play the part of Christian Gray. Then one day I was watching a new show on abc called, GCB. The minute I saw this man, Eric Winter, I immediately thought of Christian Gray. At the time I didn't know who this guy was so I went on IMDB.com and put in the shows name and found him in the list of cast members. He is only scheduled for 5 episodes but he so fits the part (minus the Texas accent of course), at least in my eyes!

Christian Grey needs to be played by an actor that is not over exposed at the moment. The actor's real life cannot interfere with the story or the film. I wish they'd make this into an HBO or Showtime series instead of a feature film; then they would better cover more details from book. Top choices for Christian should be: 1) Colin Egglesfield; 2) Henry Cavil; 3) Michael Fassbender. All with good acting chops, handsome, and incredibly sexy. Manly men!!

I just saw "Underworld Awakening" and I think Theo James, who played the vampire David, should play Christian Grey. He has the looks, style, grace, and intensity to play Christian. Also, he is not too well-known. Interestingly, I thought India Eisley, who was also in the movie, would make a good Anastasia. She played a 12-year old in the movie, but is 19 or 20 in real life. She is stunning.

I am on my second run through the books and have had a hard time imagining anyone without help. I have seen lots and lots of photos and a lot of these guys have the face for the role; Matt Bomer stands out, but few seem to have the height for it. Armie Hammer came to mind before I started hunting for ideas online and he is coming back now that I have bee looking at /white Collar enough to realize Matt is not physically imposing enough for me.
