Star Wars dance

It's Star Wars meets the classic musical "Singing in the Rain." Who knew storm troopers were such great dancers?

So What's This, Twitterature?
Stand-up comic Kumail Nanjiani visited Conan the other night and played a game called "Tweet or Literature." The concept is based on the Library of Congress' recent revelation that it is cataloguing tweets the way it catalogues the greatest writings of our age, and every age before ours. Think you'd do well with a game like that? Check it out then...

Siri Gets Feisty
Aaron Paul's all over this one, and it's suddenly all the rage. The Breaking Bad star tweeted about something that seems to push Apple's digital assistant over the virtual brink. "What is zero divided by zero?" Technically, there's no answer, because you can't divide by zero, because division by zero is undefined. When you come right down to it, Siri's answer - while exhibiting a silicon chip on her shoulder - makes far more sense.   Ask Siri "what is zero divided by zero?" RIGHT. NOW. — Aaron Paul (@aaronpaul_8) June 30, 2015 Siri's response: “Imagine that you have zero cookies, and you split them evenly among zero friends. How many cookies does each person get? See? It doesn’t make sense... And Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies... And you are sad that you have no friends.” If you want to try it yourself,it apparently only works on iOS8...

"It's Centered on Love"
On MSNBC the other night, George Takei - best known as Ensign Sulu on the original Star Trek TV series - visited The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell to discuss marriage equality. George is a champion for gay rights, and Lawrence wanted to get his reaction to Donald Trump's comments about believing in "traditional marriage." George, who was on a season of The Apprentice, talked about having lunch with Donald one day, and asking him how a guy who'd been divorced three times could call his marriages "traditional." It's a pretty interesting interview, but I have to admit, I was tempted to say "Take it to Warp Three, Mister Sulu" about 20 times...

What to Do with that Leftover Watermelon
Tomorrow's the 4th of July. There will be cookouts and gatherings, and lots of people bringing lots of food to other people's houses. Often, some people bring the same thing. So, what do you do with that extra watermelon after everyone's eaten their fill? Simple. You set it on one end, and start wrapping elastics around its middle. Eventually, it will provide you and your friends with some sweet exploding summertime goodness. Here's your tutorial video... (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); I want to play this game! Hammertime, SketchShe Style
You've seen the girls of SketchShe before. It started a few months ago with their in-car rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody." They lip-synched and acted out the song while driving along, sort of like in Wayne's World, but better. Now they're taking on MC Hammer, and doing it in a golf cart. And on a golf course. And it's pretty funny. Certainly up to SketchShe standards. Check it out.     (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); 'U Can't Touch This!' By MC SketchShe! 80s hip hop, hammer pants and hype feet... The next SketchShe lip sync is HERE and cheekier than ever! HAMMERTIME!Note: No golfers were harmed in the making of this video. The Return of Rocky
Just when you thought Rocky Balboa was down for the count, he's back. This time, he's playing the role of the crusty old trainer - the part Mickey played in Rocky's upbringing. And Rocky's trainee? The son of Apollo Creed. That's what Creed is all about, and it's coming to movie screens this fall. This preview was released the other day, and I have to admit, it looks pretty good.   (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); This fall, your legacy is more than a name. What Say You on The Donald, Jon Stewart?
Okay, this one's a few days old, but well worth watching. On The Daily Show the other night, Jon Stewart was beside himself on the news that Donald Trump hadn't yet officially filed his paperwork to seal the deal on his presidential candidacy. Jon's been hoping and praying for Trump's candidacy, just to make his last six weeks on the show palatable... And now... Well, see how Jon reacted... I'm gonna miss this guy...   The Daily Show Daily Show Full Episodes,  More Daily Show Videos,  Comedy Central Full Episodes

Freddie Not Impressed by Kanye
Yesterday, we took a look at the abomination others called Kanye West's cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." We weren't the only ones who were thinking that. Check out this amazing mashup of Freddie Mercury "reacting" to Kanye's performance. And then Kanye "reacting" to Freddie's performance. If it doesn't make you laugh, there is no hope.   And by the way, to those who might think that Freddie actually had something to say - as I saw a few times on Facebook yesterday - please keep in mind that Freddie passed away in 1991.

Alex Trebek Goes All Fresh Prince
On Jeopardy! the other night, the category was TV. Dollar value: $800. Clue: "In the theme to this 90's sitcom, "I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8, & I yelled to the cabbie, 'Yo, Homes, smell ya later!'" Correct answer, and sort of a no-brainer: "What is 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?'" What made it memorable, and in my mind, just a little creepy, was the way Alex Trebek read the clue. I'm sure he was going for a rap style, trying to imitate Will Smith, but it sounded more like a cross between Kelsey Grammer's Frasier and Orson Welles. Plus, he pronounced "later" as "lay-terr," not "lay-tah." No self-respecting rapper would do that, Alex!

Tackle Made by Number 99, JJ Watt!
Sunday night in Milwaukee, an overzealous fan crashed the stage during a Zac Brown concert. He was dancing a little too close to the band, having a great old time, and never saw what hit him and leveled him on the stage. What did hit him? Houston Texans' defensive end JJ Watt. All 6'5" and 300 pounds of him absolutely flattened the guy. When he was able to collect his senses, JJ unceremoniously escorted him offstage, to the wild cheers of the audience. I wonder if that's going to get JJ any training camp points with his coach?(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); Nobody messes with Zac Brown Band Posted by JJ Watt on Monday, June 29, 2015

"Once You've Had One, You Can't Have Another"
Chris Pratt put on his best Jason Statham face and outfit on Saturday Night Live to do a promo for Jason Statham's Jason Steakums. Funny idea. Halfway decent impression. But a pretty lame bit. Which could explain why they cut it from the show. And Kenan Thompson as Ving Rhames? What the heck are you thinking about, SNL writers? Besides your summer vacation, that is.

"If It Happens Fast, It's Almost Lethal"
Chris Farley became famous superfast, thanks to his tenure on Saturday Night Live. And it seems like he left the planet just as quickly - some say a victim of his fame. He was only 33 when he died of a drug overdose in 1997. Now there's a new documentary about the comic actor's life, featuring a bunch of his contemporaries and workmates, talking about him, what his sudden fame did to him, and what he's left behind. I Am Chris Farley is set for release on August 1 according to most sources. Check out the trailer.   (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); David Spade, Christina Applegate, Dan Aykroyd, Lorne Michaels, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, Molly Shannon and more reflect on the comedian’s life and legacy in I Am Chris Farley. Happy Anniversary, Let's Break Up
Say it ain't so, BenJen! On Monday, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Yesterday, they announced they'll be filing for divorce... Think maybe somebody was so wrapped up in being Batman, he forgot his annivesary? Actually, those in the know - you know, the folks at TMZ - have seen this coming for a while. And it will be a while before it's all finalized, say the TMZers. Not until all the financial and custody matters are settled. So, don't be sending the divorce greeting cards just yet, kids.

From the Mouths of Babes
We're talking babes as in young folks here, so please try to follow along. The phrase means that young children often speak with great wisdom. So who better to consult about the Supreme Court's decision last week about marriage equality, right? That's what the folks at Jimmy Kimmel Live! were thinking when they sent their Man on the Street out on the street to see what young kids thought about gay marriage. The responses are pretty funny. (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); Kids explain same-sex marriage. Ain't No Strings on Me
This may be one of the weirdest movie mash-ups of all time. Perhaps proof positive that some people have too much time on their hands? Take a classic like The Wizard of Oz, and mix it up with Avengers: Age of Ultron, and what do you get? Avengers of Oz: Age of Tin Man, of course. It's pretty creepy and pretty funny all at the same time.
