Free water by Elizabeth Kay,posted Jun 29 2012 6:15AM
There's a heat wave in Milwaukee!! Whenever there's a heat advisory Kidd and I hit the streets with FREE water.
Yesterday, what struck me the most was all the people from out of state who are visiting our city for Summerfest. And they all said we have a beautiful city and friendly people. That makes me proud. I always say, Milwaukee is not too big, it's not too small - it's just right.

My Dad. by Elizabeth Kay,posted Jun 18 2012 7:52AM
I hope you had a great Father's Day with the special Dad in your life.
Here's one of my sister's, my Dad and I after we were done playing some mini golf (I placed last). We had a wonderful day. And the older I get, the more I realize how hard my parents worked to give my sisters and I a good life.
One of the things I love about my day is that all he ever wants on Father's Day is to spend time with us. He never needs a present and probably wouldn't even mind if we didn't give him any cards. So thank you Dad for making it a "great day on a great lake!"
If you ever get a chance to see Milwaukee from the water...do it! I don't know what it is about the water but everything looks beautiful when you're on the water. I took these over the weekend and just looking at them calms me. We have a beautiful city enjoy it and enjoy what's left of summer:)
